Website Capture quick start
Build a URL list, choose concurrency, and capture several public pages as one run.
Updated November 2, 2026

Website Capture loads each URL in a browser managed by Temposhot on your Mac and saves one screenshot per URL. This page covers building the URL list, setting how many pages load at once, and starting the run.

Open Website Capture from the sidebar or press Command+2.
Add and manage URLs
| Action | Result |
|---|---|
| Type a URL and press Enter | Adds a new row below the current one |
| Row | Adds an empty row |
| Samples | Fills the list with public example URLs |
| Bulk insert | Opens a field for pasting several URLs, one per line |
| Remove on a row | Deletes that row |
| Clear all | Empties the list |
Temposhot adds https:// to a bare domain such as example.com. Only HTTP and HTTPS URLs are accepted. Any other scheme shows "Enter a valid HTTP or HTTPS URL."
Configure one URL
Each row has its own settings. Open them to change device, area, wait condition, cookie handling, format or blocking for that page only. From the same panel you can render a preview, inspect it at a larger size, download it, or reset the row to the run defaults.
All settings are listed in Website Capture options.
Choose concurrency
Under Run Settings, Concurrent browsers sets how many pages are captured at the same time.
| Value | Effect |
|---|---|
| 1 | One page at a time; lowest memory and CPU use |
| 4 | Default |
| 10 | Maximum; fastest, highest memory and CPU use |
When the Mac is under load, Temposhot shows a note suggesting a lower value. The URL list, row settings and Concurrent browsers are locked while a run is active.
Prepare browser components
Website Capture loads pages with WebKit, the browser engine built into macOS. No separate browser download or setup step is required before the first run.
Each page opens in a private browser session that keeps no cookies or site data between runs.
Start the run
Check the list
Confirm that every row holds a valid URL and the row settings you need.
Start
Select Start Capture. Rows move through their states independently.
Handle single pages
Use Cancel or Retry on a row to act on that page without stopping the batch.
Stop early if needed
Select Stop Capture to end the remaining work. Completed screenshots are kept.
Each run is saved as a session in Capture History.
