License

A Temposhot license unlocks the Pro features on a Mac. Open Settings with Command+, and select License to see the plan, the device activation and the license actions.

The status badge reads Not activated when no license is active on the Mac and Active after a successful activation. While a license is active, the sidebar shows "Temposhot Pro".

Activate a license

1. Open the activation sheet

   In Settings > License, select Activate License.

2. Enter the key

   Paste the license key from the purchase email into the License key field.

3. Activate this Mac

   Select Activate. Temposhot shows "Verifying license…" while it checks the key and activates the Mac.

An empty field returns "Enter a license key." Select Cancel to close the sheet without activating.

After activation, the License page lists:

Detail	Content
Plan	The purchased plan
License key	Only the last characters of the key; the full key is not stored
This device	The name of this Mac
Activated	The activation date

Manage or move an activation

Each license covers a fixed number of Macs: 1 Mac or 3 Macs, depending on the plan. To move a license to another Mac, free the current one first.

1. Release this Mac

   On the Mac you are leaving, select Deactivate this device. The activation is removed from this Mac.

2. Activate the new Mac

   On the new Mac, open Settings > License and follow the activation steps above.

Manage my license, listed under Orders and devices, opens the order page for the license. Use it to review the order and the device activations in use. Order management details will be published at launch.

Restore a license

Select Restore license when Temposhot asks to verify an existing activation on this Mac. Temposhot checks the activation again without a new key entry.

If restoring does not work, open Manage my license to check the order and its activations. For help, email support@temposhot.com with the purchase email address and order number. Do not send the full license key.
