What is an annotated screenshot?
An annotated screenshot is a capture with marks on top that point to the part that matters. Arrows and boxes show where to look, numbered steps show the order of clicks, and text labels name each control.
Annotated screenshots are common in how-to guides, bug reports and support replies. Blur any names, emails or account numbers before you share them.
The editor has 7 tools with keyboard shortcuts: Select and move (V), Arrow (A), Box (R), Text (T), Numbered step (N), Highlight (H) and Blur (B). Each mark uses one of 7 colors and 3 line sizes. Command-Z undoes the last mark.
