Turn clicks into step-by-step guides

Capture the actions first. Shape the guide afterward.
- Step 1
Capture the task
Start Action Capture, pick the target, and do the work. Every accepted click saves the state right before it.
- Step 2
Review the steps
Open the sequence, delete the clicks a reader does not need, and fix the order.
- Step 3
Edit and export
Add titles and short instructions, hide private details, and export to the format your readers use.

Keep every step focused on the next action
One page, one action
Go through the pages in order and remove anything the reader does not have to do. Action Focus and Framing crop the view to the part of the screen around the click.
Text, rectangles, ellipses, lines and arrows are in Free. Pro adds Blur, extra Click Marker styles and Step Numbers. Both export to PDF, PNG, JPG, WebP and ZIP.

Action Capture FAQ
What does Action Capture record?
For every accepted click, Action Capture saves the target as it looked just before the click, marks the click position, and adds the result as the next page of an editable Document.
How many steps fit in one session on Free?
Five. The fifth step is saved, then the session pauses. Open the Document to finish it, or activate Pro and keep going in the same session. The number of saved guides is not limited.
Which editing tools come with Free?
Page reordering, titles, descriptions, text, rectangles, ellipses, lines, arrows, framing, Action Focus, undo and redo. Pro adds Blur, Click Markers and Step Numbers.
Which formats can a guide be exported to?
PDF, PNG, JPG, WebP and ZIP, on both Free and Pro.
Should I record a video instead?
Record a video when motion, timing or sound matters. Use Action Capture when the reader needs a list of steps to follow at their own pace and scan back through.
