How to stitch screenshots into one image

  1. Add the captures

Drop up to 80 images in the order you took them. Drag a card to change the order.

  2. Pick a direction

Top to bottom for scrolling pages, left to right for wide layouts.

  3. Check the overlap

Detect overlap trims repeated pixels at each seam. Place end to end keeps every pixel. Adjust a seam by hand if needed.

  4. Download

Save stitched.png, or stitched.pdf for long results.

How does screenshot stitching work?

First, every image is scaled to the same width (top to bottom) or the same height (left to right). The smallest image sets that size, so nothing is enlarged.

At each seam, the tool compares the bottom of one capture with the top of the next. The longest strip of matching pixels is treated as overlap and cut from the second image. A capture that fully repeats the previous one is left out.

The PDF option splits a very long image into pages of up to 14,000 px, because many PDF viewers cannot show taller pages.

Frequently asked questions

What if the overlap is detected wrong?

Each seam has its own overlap field in pixels. Type the right value, or switch to Place end to end to keep every pixel.

Can I stitch images of different sizes?

Yes. Images are scaled to the smallest width (or height, side by side), so the result has straight edges.

Are my screenshots uploaded?

No. Stitching runs in your browser and the images stay on your device.

PNG or PDF?

PNG keeps the result as one image. PDF splits very long results into pages of up to 14,000 px, which most viewers open more easily.

How many images can I stitch?

Up to 80 images. The final image can be up to 32,767 px on each side and 80 megapixels in total.
